Our faculty is involved in the COST action project "Cost-effectiveness of FAIRNESS, standardisation and methodology improvement of micrometeorological in situ measurements".

The action aims to create a single European-level database of micrometeorological observations and a single methodology for data extraction. The importance of micro-level data is constantly increasing, and the possibilities of its use are broad, ranging from city or urban climate research to studies of agrometeorological growth conditions of specific plant species. This week we hosted the scientists of the European countries' project working group in the House of Nature, organising the hybrid workshop. The participants discussed cooperation with the involved parties, the data application, and the research results, which will result in scientific publications!
